Welcome to The Salt Marsh Gallery

We’re delighted to welcome Bristol-based artist Rachael to The Salt Marsh Gallery. Her evocative acrylic and collage works draw on childhood memories of Cornwall’s boatyards, blending vibrant colour with weathered textures. Inspired by time spent in her father’s workshop, Rachael’s paintings explore themes of decay, repair, and history. Each piece captures the layered beauty of working harbours, where fresh paint meets the faded marks of time and tide.

Heather Jolliffe is a popular Hampshire-based artist and teacher, trained at the Royal Academy Schools, who runs art workshops and exhibits coastal-inspired paintings nationally, including at the Royal Academy. 

Heather is fresh from her day as a Wildcard Artist at Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year competition.
